Find a shop at the airport and read a good book.

some more amsterdam notes to my previous detailed post.

This is another other one it is where willie nelson goes... it is famous amongst the growers and community:

    http://www.greyarea.nl/

On maks trip Mak you shouldnt stay in Amsterdam longer than 3 days.

Reeko you need to hit the bushdocter, coffeeshop 36, and the grey area.take some shrooms.

there is another shroom place I meant to mention:

The Magic Mushroom Gallery -Spuistraat 249-PARTERRE, magicmushroom.com

Mak you can stay at the Barbizon on honeymoon in Amsterdam.. for honeymoon thats nice. Average price is $168 a night.

Mak don't stay at greenhouse effect unless you wife is wanting a 'bohemian'experience. I have stayed there with my wife in the turkish delight room and it was nice. http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/popturkishdelight.html

But this is your honeymoon and the Barbizon is nice and a great price at $168. At that point you have to look at Barbizon since its player.

meant to mention mak if you are willing to spend $300 a night for the hotel and its your honeymoon, I recommend:

    Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam
    Oudezijds Voorburgwal 197 Amsterdam,
    $313 Avg Nightly Rate

    Hotel De l'Europe
    Nieuwe Doelenstraat 2-14 Amsterdam,
    $335 Avg Nightly Rate

depends on your budget.. if you are talking 150 to 190 a night the barbizon or the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky for $190.

If you are talking less than that then greenhouse effect for $130 , then if less than that then ibis near centraal station.

Otherwise save your cash come into Amsterdam for 8 hours do shrooms and then get on to the next place with a bag full of goodies..

Actually there is some discussion in the netherlands that there are prostitutes who stay in the transit zone, so people do not need to go trough the border to visit a prostitute. (ofcourse the politician do not want it)

It is always great to hear what we are known for.

It could be worse. I think if someone started a thread on what to do on a seven hour layover in Brussels, you'd get at most one or two responses.

At least you are known for something.

That is true, and I'm actually happy with our progressive soft drugs policy (even though our current government is working on making it worse).

transit zone? That sounds like something out of a sci fi movie.

known for? You wanted me to talk about riksmuseum and anne frank more ;(

I noticed a large amount of women from suriname. I saw the most attractive blonde prostitute I have ever seen in my life in amsterdam. Beautiful white teeth. I know that sounds weird but ask elhitman they usually dont have nice teeth..

This one was amazing , she looked like the chick from lethal weapon 2:

I told her I had been 'good all summer' she said well 'now it's time to be BAD !!'

I meant to mention to reeko that the coffeeshops I recommended coffeshop36, bushdocter, and grey area either have good smoke or good atmosphere. There are plenty of other outdoor spots but it can be very cold. The coldest I have ever been was in Amsterdam so you might have to be inside quite a bit.

brussels? Whats the difference between helsinki talinn copenhagen and brussels? You have 10 seconds to respond...

Roll with the good and the bad. Helluva journey, but one where you might need a guide.
