again, she's smart enough to know what works for her. she's showing off her assets with what she's wearing. same reason a voluptuous woman who wears the same clothes as a small chested woman can come off as "slutty". sorry, you're naive to think all girls are the same -- men certainly don't see things that way. if my daughter develops early and has a figure like her mothers, i won't pretend like i don't know how teenage boys or men think. she doesn't have to wear an amish frock, but she's not gonna flaunt it at public places. boo hoo, build some strength of character instead.
don't project your issues onto me... plenty of young girls in my community who are trendy and cute without being tacky. parents teach class to their kids and kids respect that.
as a parent you have to pick your battles and if you are fighting with your daughter because she is wearing skinny jeans (which literally every single teenage girl in america wears) than you are going to have a hard time getting thru to her when something really is distasteful. I dont know how old you are but im just recently out of high school and if girls are wearing baggy pants or pants that dont fit their body than they get teased and ridiculed

To me there is a difference in being insulted (which the Obama girls were previously) and a reference to attractiveness. The Bush girls were mocked like crazy. They were just older, and were busy making normal real life college mistakes.
