Let's ignore Wilfork's weight and focus on his age and position - those two things alone tell you that he needs to be spelled occasionally, then when you factor in his weight it's a no brainer. SMH at this coaching staff. On the bright side I saw Covington in the backfield a couple of times last week, would be interesting to see how he graded out on tape.

omgz, we can tackle once again! well, they can! they tried screening us, but jjo and kareem would shed their blocks and wrapped up.
Taking Rahim Moore out of the lineup has helped significantly. My wife's family is a bunch of die-hard Broncos fans and they told me from the beginning that the Moore signing was terrible and that he'll hurt us.
How has Moore stuck around in the league?? A safety that doesn't like to tackle isn't exactly a sought-after commodity.
I can't for the life of me figure out how veteran professional players could not know how to tackle for half a season, and then suddenly become hawks that wrap up on almost every tackle. I'm certainly glad it's happened, I just don't know how we were so bad to start with.
practicing with out any underwear in training camp then not playing in any preseason games. I think there is something to it.
Apparently in practice they have been padding up and going hard. Our corners and LB's are swarming. Corner depth has improved and getting rid of Moore in the backend. We just had the 4th best defensive squad ever in the month of November going up against two great offenses. If this is the norm the Texans are going to fly under the radar and surprise people ala Rex Ryam's Jets with Mark Sanchez. You have to think that next week is going to be easier going up against an inconsistent Tyrod Taylor. Bills lost there starting DT's for the year in Carrington and Williams. Running the ball should be very much doable which is key to winning on the road.

I ask myself the same question now. Seriously what turned things around that this defense all of a sudden is one of the best this season?
