The Fact of the matter is that Yao is never ever going to be traded from the Houston Rockets, and it has nothing to do with basketball or his game. Its about capitalism. He is the most marketable player in the NBA. Rockets lose Yao, they lose millions of dollars in investments. And besides he's not too bad a player, that makes it even an easier decision for Rockets owner Lex Alexander. Yao is going to be a Rocket for life!

In Orlando, so he can learn from Howard . At least Yao would get to practice against the best center in the world

From getting to know Yao the last 7 years, I can say that he is a very loyal person. I really don't see him saying no if Rockets deal him an extension.

Yao has dominated Howard in every game since Howard came into the league. Going one on one, Yao dominates Howard. Howard has still to prove that. We'll find out tom. I predict another dominating performance by Yao, THE BEST CENTER IN THE WORLD!

Honestly Houston isnt the best city for Yao to chase a ring. Maybe become teammates with Kobe or Wade is the best way for Yao.

On behalf of yao I would like him to play on mavs, Dirk is an ideal partener for yao. Yao has played with various PFs since he joined our team, Taylor, Juwan, Hayes... but none of them had ever given yao any help in offense, though Hayes helps yao alot in defense. honestly today's yao is no longer as good as he used to be in his prime, but yao still can get almost 20+10 on average. it's undebatable Dirk will be an upgrade version than Scola. But...

why the heck should yao join mavs? :p like the case of Tim Duncan, Yao won't go anywhere else and will definitely retire as a rocket.

Yao and Lebron! doesn't matter what team. They would rack up maybe 5 or 6 rings together.

As a first option, then a disciplined half-court set team with a great PG - j*zz? :(

As a second option, then LAL or Cavs or Heat, obviously.

Lakers. The rockets trade Yao for any players except Kobe. Both teams could like the deal. The rockets can beat the Jazz flop without any problem with the Brooks and Artest running a show. Fakers are high on Yao for a while, we can get the best deal from them. I guess that this is the best we can get if Yao decides to leave.
