Are you serious? Of all these responses, you got 2 of the most instantly recognizable songs in the bunch. I'm sure you'd know them if you heard them.

If not, well... you probably shouldn't be on your parents computer without their permission.

    :p

HA HA Jackass. I'm 22 - I have my own apartment and my own computer, thank you very much! :D I recognize the second one, thanks to Mr. Meowgi. I still have NO CLUE about "fame".

"I'm gonna live forever.... I'm gonna learn how to fly (high!)"

That is the same one, right? It came from the TV show and was permanently stuck in everyone's heads in the early '80's. Too darn catchy. Everyone sang it in elementary school.

i thought this might be it since it was #1 for so long back in the early 80's and it turns out it was:

US#1: Physical by Olivia Newton John

and the UK: Under Pressure by David Bowie and Queen.

i have to say i'm pleased with the results. both really big hits, the second one i really like and sort of like the first. and for those scoring at home, me and huypham have the same songs but his birthday is listed as N/A on his profile.

Help and Satisfaction would be the biggest combo so far but i think i like the Eye of the Tiger and Jack and Diane combo the most.

"you were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when i met you
i picked you up, shook you up, and turned you around
    turned you into someone new

now 5 years later on you've got the world at your feet,
success has come so easy for you,
but don't forget it's me who put you where you are now,
and i can put you back there too.

    chorus

i was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, that much is true,
but even then i knew i'd find a much better place,
    either with or without you

the 5 years we have had have been such good times,
    i still love you,
but now it's time i live my life on my own,
i guess it's just what i must do.

    chorus

    chorus to fade"

great song, think i got the lyrics right. human league had a few other solid ones as well.

I'm off the charts. I predate the '52 UK pop charts, and the '55 US pop charts. I feel almost as old as Dr of Dunk.
    I'm too old for a song. :(
