great pick! admire that band a lot. Myself just picked up the new Shins album today. Love it.

BTW have you heard the bands A Hawk and a Hacksaw and Beirut? A Hawk... is featuring the drummer of NMH. Great great stuff here.

You two should check out a new band called "Tokyo Police Club". Their minialbum is quite awesome output. Its a mixture between bloc party, maximo park and modest mouse.

Also like Architecture a lot. They also appear on a just released tribute to Pet Sounds of the Beach Boys. Together with other greats like Will Oldham. Great stuff too.

So funny Manny; I just had a long busdrive home after I posted my posts before and was listening to the whole "harvest moon" album of Neil. And Leonard Cohen is one of my absolute alltime most admired songwriters. Songs like Suzanne, hey thats no way to say goodbye, so long marianne, the avalanche always alltimes make me cry........................

Yea, he (Cohen) is definitely an acquired taste but I love him (never was able to get into his last album, "Dear Heather", though). Batman Jones was the person who got me interested in him and Neil Young and I now have 12 Cohen albums and like 28 Neil Young albums, LOL.

Currently listening to "Duchess" by Genesis

"My Back Pages" - The Byrds

IMO, this is the BEST Dylan song ever done by someone other than Dylan even better than Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower".  :)
