How's this for weird? I have all my songs on shuffle (2487 of them). I just heard "Steady As We Go" by DMB which was our first dance at our wedding and the next song was "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac which is the song my wife is named after.

Funny you should say that. The other day here at work, someone told me to turn down my iPod. Something about hearing bagpipes. (Perhaps I was listening to AC/DC's Long Way to the Top If You Wanna Rock and Roll a little too loud?)

Anyway, I brought in the headphones we use for my band's in-ear monitor system. I didn't even know they would fit my iPod. HUGE difference. I've got the volume about 1/2 up and it's almost too loud for me. And no one can hear anything around me.

What type do you have? Mine work okay...but I found on bus rides with the freshman basketball team I help out with, it cant cancel out all that noise, even if I turn my volume up. I have Sony noise cancelling phones btw.

I'm telling ya! My headphones are made by RCA. Got them at WalMart. They have the battery holder in the cord, and I bought an extension for it at Radio Shack. The phones cost me $30 and the extension $7. The noise cancelling works fantastic in the office, but it only works when you have music playing. I swear, someone could be standing next to me in my cube while I'm listening at even low volume, and I would not be able to hear them.

I gotta get me an IPOD now to go with 'em so I don't have to spend time picking CDs to take to work each morning.
