After watching the Lakers for 3 games, they are punks. The only way they slink on to the next round is that we will have approximately $40 million in salaries sitting on the bench unable to play.

Remember the vision for this team. Imagine 3 elite defenders (yes Lamar is a unique defender when he wants to be) switching at will on Kobe. Imagine McGrady t-bagging whoever got stuck under the basket following every vain attempt to front Yao. Picture Deke rising up off the bench and sending Gasol's shot into the 3rd row 2 or 3 times a game.

When Kobe knees Battier in the head, the *real* McGrady torches him - Kaitlin Bryant is at his will for the next 5 minutes and its Tracy back pedaling past the Laker bench yelling "Kobe can't guard me!" When punk-a$$ Kobe elbows Ron in the throat, Deke is there walking him away from the confrontation and calming him down.

And it doesn't matter, because we are up 20 and on our way to a sweep. That is the team that Morey tried to build for you. It didn't work out, but when you watch the game today, look at the $40 million men on the bench and *know* what should have been.
