What seed do you think the Rockets will end up with ?

I got upset just watching the most recent Mavericks game. I dislike them enough that I don't think my heart can take a full playoff series again.

If I had a choice between Dirk Nowitski or getting hit with a hammer, I'd choose Dirk getting hit with a hammer.

 

6th with another first round exit.

Hate to be so pessimistic, but I'm not sure the team as a whole has the mental fortitude to step it up and beat any of the other 7 Western teams when they're in playoff mode.

I do expect that there will be some surprises from the bench in whatever series we play. Just a gut feeling. Brewer and Smith seem energetic enough to do some unexpected things. Maybe Terry will re-find his shot by then.

 

Impossible to say. Don't think we will be 1, 2 or 8. But 3-7 are all separated by basically 1-1.5 games. Go on a small losing streak and we could easily be sitting at 7.

IMO seeding won't matter much this year. I'd prefer to not face Memphis or LAC in 1st but other teams won't be much easier.

 

Warriors are very likely going to be a 1st rd exit against OKC and definitely a 1st round exit against Spurs.

 

Its important t get ne of those 3 or 4 seeds and get home court in he first round and that will probably lead t home court in the second round and possibly WCF.

I believe the odds favor GSW and Memphis to be knocked out by Spurs and OKC in first round.

 

4th or 5th, another first round exit likely.

 

It depends a lot on every teams remaining strength of schedule.

 

I don't think it matters what seed we get as long as we don't face OKC. If Howard isn't healthy we will be done in the first anyway.

 

As long as we don't face the Clippers in the first round, I don't care. And that's not because I think we'd beat every other potential matchup, but just because we are absolutely incapable of beating the Clippers.

 

Really hoping for that 3rd seed and the standing to end up like:

GSW
MEM
HOU
POR
LAC
DAL
SAS
OKC

Pretty sure that is every Rockets' fan dream scenario once the season ends.

 

That's all I can say. And then hope that the Spurs beat the Grizz and we can catch them getting older; and then a miracle happens and the Blazers come out of the other bracket so we can face them in the WCF. One can dream.

careful what ya wish for.. playin the mavs and them beating us will be armageddon .. i cannot stand anything dallas, similar to the 2005 series, that just crushed my heart when we couldnt win a home game in game 3 or game 4.. i guess its better to play them then any of the other teams..

 

4th seed and I think we'll be looking at Dallas/LAC. I am absolutely nervous to see if we continue shooting bricks and wait for James to win it on his lonesome.

 

I want Dallas in the 1st round that's who I think we have the best chance of beating. They have nobody to cover Harden.
