Where is Bullard nowadays? I would rather have him than Rice. At least, he is 6'10. And he is good at what he's doing. I forgot what was the reason he stopped playing.

I think Posey should start but Rudy is probably going to stick with Rice in the starting line up (loyalty to the veterans?) Even though he might start but I expect Posey to finish the game and play more minutes as the season progress. Posey probably going to end up playing 35 + minutes a game at both the SG and SF position. Rudy had been known to go with hot players at the end regardless who start. This will also decrease Moochie minutes as Posey will backing up at the shooting guard instead of Steve. I think Posey should play 35+ minutes as we need a guy who will do the dirty work like playing defense getting the rebound ,etc.

Signed by Atlanta, injured (chronic back) and now retired (I think).

I think Rice should stay in the starting lineup. That way Rudy can see if he has his shot going and use that to dictate how long he plays. If his shot is off or he is getting taken defensively, then put Posey in for most of the rest of the game. If Rice comes out with his shot falling, have him and Posey roughly split the minutes at the 3.

Hmmm... it's hard to judge the performance of a shooter by just the first couple of minutes. He may go 0-4 in 1st quarter, and then fires up 4-4 in 3rd. That's why sometimes they still feed a good shooter even after he misses a lot. My 2 cents.

Bullard is on the Hornets' injured list..not retired, and not in Atlanta. That was years ago.

I never understood the Rice trade, still don't. I voted for a few minutes off the bench. He should be used as a spot-up shooter only. I knew his career was over when we got him. Now it looks like Taylor's injury may have ended his career as well. And Griffin's career (I had such high hopes for him) may be over before it begins. He can't hit the side of a red barn with a nuke! Before he came to the rockets he had a consistent "sweet" mid-range jumper. Go figure.
