Taco Bell by faaaaaaaar for fast food. Sit down would most likely be Casa Ole'. I hear from a lot of people that hate the place, but for some strange reason I crave it all the time.

Wow, this is a tough one.

Fast Food: I'd say Taco Bell. I've avoided McDonald's since I was old enough to buy my own fast food. Chick Fillet is gaining on Taco Bell though.

Restaurant: Wing joints. Back in the day when Hooters was the only wing game in town, I would go 2-3 times a week, and I would never miss dime-time on Tuesdays. More recently it's BWW. Non-wing joints- Pappasitos.

Pizza: Pizza Hut or Mario's on the Seawall in Galveston.

McDonalds ... I take my son there about twice a week.

For sit down restaurants, we have lately been eating at Pronto's a lot.

The green sauce at Casa Ole is addictive, although it could be spicier.

Surprising amount of love for Casa Ole in this thread, I like it and go there about once a month, but I am always embarrassed to say so cause foodie friends make gagging noises. I know it isn't authentic, but it is pretty tasty and I love the chips and salsa and Tortilla soup. (and the Chimichanga is pretty good)

Pancho's! the greatest place when I was little when going to Houston. To bad they shut most of them down and have only seen one near Almeda Mall.

Considering I'm a UT student, Wendys is really eating my wallet.

Did they really have to put Jester, PCL, and Greg ALL by Wendys?

Since I've moved around, and I haven't regularly gone to a chain place (outside Taco Bell for a few college years), I don't have much of an answer.

in TX, it might have been Taco Bell
my first west coast stop, it was a Korean place for lunch -- amazing food, and I can't even remember the name!

now in SF: probably a mom-and-pop Lebanese place. That middle eastern food is supposed to be really good for you. We'll see I guess.

Yeah, its not the most authentic Mexican food in the world, but it hits the spot. The Chimichanga, and the fajita burrito are my favorites. Their green dip is awesome.

Casa Ole has the best chile con queso in the world too. I think that and beef tacos are the 2 items I like more there than other places.

I worked there for a couple months one summer and learned that the secret when ordering enchiladas is to request that they are made with flour tortillas instead of corn. That way they are made fresh and taste really good.

I haven't eaten at Casa Ole in years. I'm not even sure where one is.

What kind of enchiladas are good with flour? I would think that ones with red sauce would make them turn into mush.
