I'd probably say Casa Ole. We used to go there at least once a week all throughout my childhood.

i have no idea where i've eaten the most but casa ole definately brings back memories. emerald lanes used to have a buy-one-get-one free coupon on the score sheet and we would hit the ole almost daily in the summers.

Picadilly was here in Houston also. Outside of fastfood, probably Luby's.

Not counting fast food... (which might be a tie between Whataburger and Subway)

Either Buffalo Wild Wings or Freebirds.

I'd have to go with Chilis. Decent food for the price especially when they have that 2 for 20 deal. I think I eat there far too often for my own good.

    Well, that explains a lot.

When I was in college El Chico's had a $1.49 enchilada night every Wendesday.
    I don't think I missed it for 4 years.

If take out counts, I've been eating KFC for 50 years, but my favorite is LJS.
I went there on my birthday and got the family meal for 6.

Casa Ole. Its not exactly fine dining, but I love the food. My 6 year old daughter loves it now, I take her there once a week.

As far as fast food, Whataburger.

In terms of food quality, yes. But you get a waiter at BW3 and Freebirds doesn't have a drive through.

As a kid overseas: A&W and an assortment of soba houses.

    Stateside, young adult: Wendy's & Arby's

    Now: Luigi's, Luby's & Sweetwater.

To answer the question by count: Wendy's (back in the day, they had the juiciest burgers around. just loved that grease/ketchup/mustard running down my chin)

fast food / not sitting and eating in: Chick-Fil-A for sure

actually sitting down and eating... very unknown. could be millions of places. I'd imagine a place that's been around forever and that I still go to on occasion prob. tops the lifetime list:

Chili's? Even if it's not even close to tops on my "all time favorites". Which is interesting..

I preferred Bennigan's over Chilli's but since Bennigan's went out of business Chilli's has grown on me
