The ultimate answer is embedded in how long Adelman gives the grouping of Hayes, Battier and Alston 90% of the floortime minutes with McGrady and Yao. 42-40 if he rides them to the finish line. 48 W's if 2 of 3 are replaced by mid-January.

We sail to 54 wins, I think we will win a bigger portion of our games down the stretch when it gets little more tense, guys will be force to play hard....or they will be shipped out for someone better.

If we don't go under .500 by the end of the first half, then i believe we can still make 50 wins at least.

I knew Morey made a mistake hiring a professional coach. He should have just come to you. Obviously you're such an authority that you can say you know better than Adelman without giving any reasons for your opinions, and we're all just supposed to take it at face value.

I was predicting things here like the demise of Glen Rice when you were still posting on a RealGM board. Put your money where your mouth is smart guy. I'll match you. You won't be the first smart ass that I've embarrassed enough around here that they changed their logon moniker. Or vanished. Bring it on.

At my most optimistic, I thought 55 wins before the season. I'll downgrade that to 50 right now. 50 wins means going 38-20 the rest of the way. The schedule should lighten up after this month, and wins will be easier to come by.

That's probably good for a 5 or 6 seed. And a likely first round knockout.

52 wins if a trade is made soon or 41 wins if the team stands as is.

To start with I was expecting about 62 wins and the first couple of games seemed to say I was on the right track!
Since then I have seen a lot of mid level talent turn to scrubs and the team has not found it's identity or it's style of play.
With a new coach who seems to believe in mystical ways when he expects things to develop out of almost catastrophy.
At present I am hopeful for 41 wins and no playoffs, I just don't want to go through the first round and be knocked out again!
Hoping that the light goes on in Les Alexander's head and we begin to transform this team as soon as possible, starting by dropping the Win Now scenario. We need to build our team, not throw it togetherand expect miracles. :p
The HOUSTON ROCKETS ARE NOW IN 10 th POSITION in the Western Conference
