you never filled out a dream sheet? you were never asked to list your options of where you want to be assigned next? either you volunteered to go to Southeast Asia by so designating on your dream sheet, or you didn't. If you did, you volunteered. if you didn't volunteer, you could still be sent. that's why they called it a DREAM SHEET, because most guys are dreaming if they think they will get what they asked for. except going to SEA. if you volunteered for that in the late 60s, you always got it. did you ever fill out a dream sheet indicating where you preferred to be assigned next?
