Why would you comment about not being surprised the "resident muslim basher" is obsessed with a thread about race and racism if, to you, being Muslim didn't have some connection to race? What would be the point of mentioning his "muslim bashing", if not to tie his anti-muslim feelings back to race in some way...? Did you just say that for no reason at all?

There is no right answer to this question.. Every race is racist to another race, that is just how it is.. But in this country it no doubt has to be whites and blacks more racist to each other, and that has been proven throughout history.
Whatever helps you deal with it, man. You're not "likening" it, you're assuming that one disposition is related to the other.
