    Caucasian isn't a race r-tard.

It is an older, but still-used, term for a broad physical type, usually focusing on facial features, not skin color, language or cultural ethnicity. It is not a technical term used or defined by any academic discipline.

In general you may find the term "Caucasian" used to refer to the various ethnic groups, of a wide range of physical type, color and ethnic background, who speak languages of the Indo-European family. This includes peoples of Central Asia, the Indian sub-continent and other parts of South Asia. The term usually also includes Arabs, Dravidian (the short black people of southern Indian and southeast Asia), the Berbers and others who speak various other languages not of the Indo-European family. The term Caucasian is diminishing in use, in light of its ambiguity and a desire for more precise and more specific ethnic distinctions.

The correct term for white people should've been white

Thank you for the lesson on the word. I realize that. The same reason I did not list out every Asian country or seperate North and South Africa or anything. There is only ten available spots.

So just click "Caucasian" and stop being difficult for the sake of it.

I'm not telling you to put all of earth's countries in your poll I'm telling you to put a race in the poll that correctly categorizes white people.

And you don't realize it. That's what I'm saying. Your poll is entitled, "What race are you?" Caucasian isn't a race. I was gonna click caucasian(because I know what it describes) and move along, untill you called someone an r-tard.

This is a very racist thread.

I was born in Mexico, am of Hispanic ancestry, and am considered "latinoamericano" in Spanish-speaking countries, "Hispanic" in the United States, and "iberoamericano" by people in Spain. Go figure.

MiddleMan, the word "chicano" was derived from the word "mexicano" , meaning "mexican" as pronounced by those born in the United States of Mexican parents. The pronounciation was "mehk-see-KAH-noh" and quickly the "see" became "shi" then "chee", and the word stuck. This is a term used mostly in California and Texas. See "Blood In Blood Out: Bound by Honor" (vatos locos forever, homes).

Basically (yes, basically), I clicked "Hispanic". :D

It's better to just use "ethnicity" instead of race. "Caucasian" can be considered a "race," however vague it may be.

Actually, it's better not to care at all...

if you don't mean anything racist my it.. my apologies... but the "experiement" and "my theory" thing sounds a little arrogant...

let's put it in this prospective:
Just a little experiement to see if my theory is correct. I got a feeling that 98% of this board are African Americans. Let's see.
