    I think it's a little disingenuous to interpret the results of the other thread as "People don't want T. Jones to finish games," rather than "People prefer Lin and Bev to finish games." We've performed well this season with T. Jones starting and those two closing, for whatever reason. If we hadn't fared so well w/ Lin and Bev finishing, I would have no objection to T. Jones finishing. I could be misinterpreting your agenda, but it seems like you are eager to interpret peoples' preference for Lin/Bev as the closing duo alongside Harden/Parsons/Howard as a knock on T. Jones... I just don't think it is.

    With all due respect KlutchQT, when you say "People would prefer Lin and Bev to finish games" you are also saying "People prefer Jones to not finish games.". That's not disingenuous. It's just the truth.

    But taking it a step further, not only do they prefer Bev/Lin finishing games...but 90% of us prefer that Jones not finish games on the defensive end and over 70% of us do not want Jones finishing games on the offensive end. Combined that means that over 70% of us prefer to have other players than Jones on the floor around Harden, Parsons, and Howard to close games. It would be disingenuous to attempt to water down those numbers. Those are very decisive opinion numbers. The overwhelming majority of us do not want to see Jones on the floor in crunch time. That's what the 2 "closing" polls show. It's not like it's even close.

    Your posts imply that there is some deficiency relative to Jones that makes people prefer Bev/Lin closing, discounting the possibility that some (like me) may prefer Bev/Lin closing because it has proven to work over the course of the season, and not due to any deficiency on Jones' part.

    I also think it's interesting that you think the closing polls are "very decisive opinion numbers" -- yet this poll favors T. Jones starting (and it's not even close), but you think it is skewed/not truly representative of the majority opinion. Not trying to be combative about this... it just seems to me as though you have an agenda behind all of this. I'm over it though lol.
