    How about:

    Brooks
    TJones
    Smith
    Asik
    Howard

Basically the four strongest players all throw Brooks to the hoop. Can't get more experimental than that. ;)

Everyone box out. 2 veteran box out players in their team but 4 veteran box out players in our team.

Game time. all Jeremy Lin have to do is to chuck the ball in the three zone. If it doesn't go in rebound and alley oop =)

We are talking experimental so I would go with:

    DMO
    Casspi
    Parsons
    Harden
    Lin

Its my no defense run the hell out of the apposing team for 5 minutes. Think of it as a Houston rope and dope. Then come in with the Defensive gaunlet

    Asik
    Howard
    Parsons
    Harden
    Beverly

I don't know when Harden takes a break but since he is sooooooo fat  he can use the extra calorie lose.

I'd like to see our backup SG playing at the 4 like last season. That lineup was killer.

If the twin towers play well together, then I'd like to see some zone defenses. And, for experiments sake, I'd like to see a super huge zone lineup. It could be used against teams that didn't have a lot of great three point shooters in the game: like say if we are playing the Celtics and Rondo checks in at the same time their best wing three-point shooter (whoever that is) checks out. It would be a way to slow the pace way down and protect a big lead in the third or fourth quarters. It might not work, but there wouldn't be any harm in trying it for a few minutes in the pre season.

    The line-up:
    Asik
    Howard
    Jones
    Harden (or even Parsons)
    Beverly (or even Harden)

That's a big line up. In a zone I think it would really be hard to score against without multiple three point threats. And I think it could still put up some points on the offensive end.

In a blowout, I would love to see a lineup of Brooks/Canaan/Beverley/Lin/Motiejunas.

Just because it would look hilarious on the court.

I would definitely entertain a starting lineup of:

    Canaan/Brooks/Beverly/Harden/Howard in Taiwan.

The epic meltdown form certain fans on this BBS was well.....EPIC...and quiet frankly extremely entertaining.

My only concern is that if my proposed lineup were to be experimented with by McHale, we might be have to put plenty of folks on suicide watch.

You never bench you're best player. Even in an experimental stage.

Brewer has done nothing the first two games. Does he even make the team???

    Also...where has Reggie Williams been?

If McHale is for real and plans to play Asik in the starting lineup alongside Dwight then Jlin will for sure have to be the starting point guard at those times, simply because skilled and inventive playmaking will be needed.

On the other hand I think DMo plays real well with JLin and so those guys could see time together too...either as starters or bench players. Jones seems to play well with Harden and Bev. So many lineups and options and still we haven't seen Asik or Garcia yet!! The X-factor is Casspi. If he keeps playing like this then the rotation might change drastically. Nice to have options.

I see your point. Sub Lin for Bev in that big zone lineup. I would really like to see it. I think it would be really difficult for an opposing team to score against it without multiple three-point threats.

hat have you been watching in the last two years and in the first two preseasons besides linsanity". Harden right now is a lot better then Howard. Harden is on the cusp of being a top 5 player that his defense has improved.
