I don't disagree with that. My only point is that college isn't required to be happy or hopeful for your future.
He did think about that actually...but he didn't have the personality for it. It's pretty crazy what you can learn when you read the thread starter's post.
Ha! That's like asking someone if they'd consider being a dishwasher instead of a chef. (Look up the Policeman vs. Fireman videos on YouTube for more insight.)
Go back to school. Without a degree, you're shut out of all the white collar jobs and your earning potential is severely diminished. Otherwise, learn a trade such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. Whatever you decide, make sure you learn a transferable skill. You don't want to be 40 years old and not be established.
