I guess KD leaving OKC to Warriors is water under the bridge. Wonder how OKC fan base feels about this.

 

Nothing. Tilman will wait until black friday before allowing any moves hoping for a good deal on electronics.

 

If you're a rookie GM who's just been handed a team with 2 former MVPs both at or near their prime, regardless of internal team chaos, you do everything you can to build a team around them in year 1 of your tenure.

If it doesn't quite work, you go in a different direction next year.

If it fails miserably, you start rebuilding at this year's trade deadline.

But right now, you do what you can to bring in guys to work well with your 2 stars, because it's very likely you'll never have a shot this good again.

 

They just lost Klay for the season again. They're not getting richer.

 

So how do you justify getting rid of a player who fits perfectly with them in RoCo?

Next? Tilman gives all the guys on the current roster 2020 NBA Luxury Tax Champions caps and T-shirts.

 

I have to think they're going to try to bring in Ibaka or Wood. Nothing else makes sense.
