Incorrect. We cannot win the season series against the Hornets. They beat us the first two times out. If we beat them on April 6th, we tie the season series 2-2, but they still have the division tie breaker. So we have to finish ahead of the Hornets regardless of the outcome of that game.

Well if that's the case, then they (Hornets) only need TWO wins to solidify their spot in the playoffs. Dang...

The clippers, blazers, and sac have a decent chance to beat memphis. Memphis' biggest advantage is their size and those team's size can match up well against them. Do i believe they will lose all 3 probably not. Will it be close? Hell yes.

If we win tonight against the Kings then go beat the Hornets. That'll put us just one game behind the Hornets with only 3 games to go. So we'll have to hope the Hornets lose in there last 4 games and us keep winning in order to get in there. It's unlikely but not impossible because the Hornets last few games are harder than ours.

It's very simple how we get in..

    1. We either finish with a better record than NOH or they are in..that is the least likely to happen in my opinion.

    2. we finish with better record than memphis or the same record and we are in.. i see this more likely, i do expect memphis to have a historic choke, and we win out.. the key games are tonight memphis vs clippers and memphis vs Noh.. if they lose those 2, portland will take care of them for the 3rd loss..

we just need to handle our business as well

If we win out, and they lose 2 of their last 4 (to PHX, MEM, UTH, DAL), we'll have a better record so no tie-breaker.

it's easier to catch NOH because

    1. We play NOH
    2. Memphis is playing better
    3. NOH lost David West for the season
    4. I just don't see MEM losing 3 of the last 5
