We need a Blake Griffin before we need a CP3 for the Rockets. Lin and Beverley will do a great job for Houston next season. :)

Good points but Lin is not doing just fine, and he is not a pure PG. Theres a reason ppl compared him to Ginobli coming off the bench prior to game 6, because hes a scorer firts. Lacks proper off ball movement. He cant do much if he isnt dominating the rock creating shots for himself with almost average pure PG skills.

Lin simply needs to go, too much hype behind an inconsistent player, hes had more than enough time to show steady play. Enough with the excuses. For Lin its all mental and his rollercoster confidence is a major hinderance for the team. Bev should start with AB great scoring off the bench. Great guy though.

Howard would be an upgrade, no matter which way you slice it. I'd be happy if we got him, but we'd be just fine with Asik and getting a nice 2 way PF. That would improve this team drastically.

Lol after all that you conclude that Bev should start, a guy who has almost no pure PG skills? At least say sign CP3. That is the only reason why Lin won't be starting point guard next year. If we sign CP3

Miami is not just star power. Ppl overlook the importance of Battier, Allen, and Anderson on that team. Sure without Lebron that team is going nowhere but the components make the difference between Finals loss and Championship. Howard seems to bring more negatives than positive.
As far as the Clips are concerned, they are the Clippers and there was some dissent in the locker room. Houston has a good thing as of now. They just need to find more players who compliment the team. Not just "star power"

Additions are necessary for sure, but internal growth is important too.
Can D-Mo,T Rob,T-Jones,Smith,Asik and Harden work to improve their play in the paint with CD over the offseason?
Or will they be forbidden to do so,due to League restrictions?

Welcome to the NBA where individual talent trumps everything else. I love all the scrutiny about but Paul would not be cohesive and Howard bright brick a few free throws. Who the hell cares!? If you can add one maybe two top ten players you do it and worry how it shakes out later. There isn't a top PF available until 2015 so you go balls to the wall for Paul and or Howard now and if you only get one then you hang on to Asik and Lin to dump for picks to go after Love or LMA the next year. Al Jefferson and Millsap are pieces that just make you a second round playoff exit.
