How can so many people hate the spurs? Such a classy organization tbh. Timmy and TP...( i don't like Manu either) but they always mirror the hard working rockets in a certain way. The get low 1st rounders and get max production out of them every year. + they gave us Scola.

People hate the spurs because of jealously. They know how to win.

I wouldn't care as long as the checks were good every 2 weeks. It would suck to be on a team that sucks year after year though.

I would mostly hate to play for Jerry Sloan just like Deron did. Secondly, popovich. The dude is a dick too. George Karl and Rudy T and JVG far and away. I. Would go to war for those three.

And don't mistake my comments into an argument who are best coaches. The thread is not about that

F!ck Sloan and popovch. In the immortal words of Brian Kagy, "Popovich can go stick a fork in his potted face."

The same Pop who took an unproven 19 year old skinny PG and turned him into a legit MVP candidate?

I would honestly loved to be coached by Pop. He makes you a better player, and his coaching wins championships. Not sure where you're getting the idea that he's a total pill from.

You are so naive it is ridiculous. Both Jordan and Hakeem would not have put up with Popovichs bs. Neither would Larry Bird. And you are saying Parker owes his career to him

Look Bobby Knight is a better basketball genius than Popovich will ever be, and Bobby Knight can go f!ck himself too.

If you say success means I should want to play for that coach then why not just say that in your OP. you know why you didn't say that, it is because you know it is a wrong statement in every sport at every level. This thread is just a love fest for Popovich. A coach who NEVER could have gotten Hakeem to the championships like Rudy did. And Vernon. Forget it

I personally would hate to play in LA, NY type cities. Not really a fan of either city when I visited. And not a fan of super cold cities in the north either. And of course, Mavs/Jazz are obvious exclusions. I would rather play for Sacramento before the above cities, assuming money is the same.

I would HATE to play for Popovich. He's everything I despise in a boss/manager. I would much rather play for Adelman/McHale/Rudy types if I were given a choice.

Surprised no one said Toronto yet. Not only is it a horrible organization but it's far and cold as heck.

Oh and if this thread comes with the condition that I'll never get cut, I'd love to play with the Lakers and throw every game and be a locker room cancer just to stick it to them.

Are people really complaining about some cities not being up to their standard?

You're getting a million dollar contract minimal. You'll be living in the best part of the town and hanging with your crew of sucks ups, probably get free meals around the block too.

And don't even pretend like you're be out during the day much, you know you don't want to sign those autographs.

I guess any of those - Bobcats/Wizards/Pistons/Raptors/Kings and Blazers. First five are just suck at everything. And Blazers always had injurie prones, so I guess it's something with the staff.

Teams I love to be drafted by - Bulls/Celtics/Rockets/maybe OKC

Actually Toronto is warmer than a lot of East cities, and it's always voted as one of best cities to live in the world. I do wonder if players have to go through customs every time though because it's international traveling. And if they pay Canadian taxes, because if so then Toronto would become the worst city ever.

And that's why nobody on here is a professional athlete. If players thought like this they'd be out of the league already.

Yes, answering a question in a thread on the internet is EXACTLY why none of us are professional athletes. Spot on.
