Hello? James White. It was the flukiest that we won game six with James White logging no actual court time. I could see him diagramming plays though.

Whatever chuck gives up offensively, he makes up for by shutting down gasol. Plus he has great passing skill for a big man as he set up landry's monster flush tonight.

Also, let's not forget gasol was scoring on landry with ease despite carl lighting it up on the other end.

Both sides are so terribly inconsistent. Regardless of the outcome. Hopefully, the Rockets finish the series playing their best.

    Drexler says,
"If the Rockets can outscore the Lakers then they'll win the game."

Went back and looked at all of our playoff games. The Rockets are 2-0 on Sunday, 2-0 on Thursday, 1-0 on Monday, 1-0 on Saturday, 1-1 on Friday, 0-3 on Tuesday & 0-1 on Wednesday. Let's make Sunday our day!!

Yes, yes, and yes. With even more of an emphasis on having a great start, great first quarter. We need to be leading or down no more than a few. Competing from the beginning putting no doubt in the Lakers mind as to where our focus is.

    Go Rockets! Take game 7!

Brooks' passing was much better tonight.

He used his speed advantage to get to the right spot before the pass was made.

Rockets looked great tonight on both ends of the floor.

Our PnR was great on both ends.

When L.A. came within two points in the 3rd, we showed that we can weather the storm. This shows me that we have a good chance to win game 7 if our spacing and decision making is good on Sunday.

We proved last Sunday we do well with afternoon games.

Everyone not named Kobe Bryant on the Lakers is going to be extremely nervous on Sunday. Game 7's are a different animal - anything can happen.

I think it's going to be a close game.

You are absolutely right. Looking at game 4 and 6 , one thing in common is that we jumped on them early. Very early. Kind of screwed their rhythm.

The main thing will be steady defense.

The Rockets have to make the Lakers give up the ball, we have to be able to force the game onto Kobe's shoulders early so that he doesn't have much left by the end of the game and not related to defense, but they have to make their own shots as well.

Do this and we have a great shot of winning this second round.

Actually we semi-jumped on them in the beginning of the game 5. When it's all said and done, game 7 home court advantage will be the deciding factor.

Chuck must stay away from realy fouls trobles.(I know refs may ...)
Ron controls his outside shooting, he should cranch in the pain.
Scila, Chuck and Carl leave the paint open for AB penetrating when we attack the rim.
Battier should shoot 3 without hestiate when he is open, this will draw KB more energy to gard him to reduce KB's offence.
    Go, Rockets!

We barely escaped tonight. Adelman had absolutely NO IDEA what he was doing. The score was deceiving, we did not deserve to win this game. A bunch of pathetic scrubs out there playing while the men sat on the bench.

    Or rather, the man.

There is no way we should win or can win in game 7 if Cook logs any less than 30 minutes and any less than 45 shots.

It's the key gentlemen. Cook em' up.

The main key to winning next game is to limit turnovers. If we can keep turnovers to less than 7 we WILL WIN!!!!!!

    Strategies/Keys for game 7

Since game 5 was such a disaster, I'll leave nothing to chance and speak my mind.

    1) Learn from game 5. Anticipate the crowd noise and bad calls. There will be bad calls! Lakers will be at home and the refs are human unfortunately. Play through it. Let's win fair and square!
    2) There is a great chance for early foul trouble by Scola or Hayes when guarding Bynum and Gasol. They need to be aware and the team needs to be aware. We need to plan for it. Maybe mix in some quick double teams to take the ball out of the post.
    3) We need to post Scola and Artest. If they double or front, we need contingencies. The Lakers started doing that in game 6.
    4) The Lakers have adjusted after every loss. I believe their next adjustment will be to take into account Landry playing the 4. We need to anticipate a counter to their adjustment.
    5) I noticed Adelman waited till the 4th quarter to play Lowry-Brooks so the Lakers couldn't adjust. We need other wrinkles to catch the Lakers off balance.
    6) Our guards need to watch the turnovers while still being aggressive!
    7) I know this sounds simple, but play to win the game ala '86 Rockets vs LA. We need to improve upon our mindset of game 5. I believe in our players!

We need to rebound better. Less second chance opportunities for the Lakers. They had 13 more shots than us tonight, and I doubt they'll shoot 35% and 5-23 from 3 in game 7

We need to make shots... that's really all it boils down to. You know our guys are going to bring the energy.

If there is one thing this series has shown, it's that the Lakers defense is going to allow a lot of wide open shots, the Rockets just need to knock them down.
