    For most of my incoming calls, I have the Sanford and Son theme song.
    For Buck Turgidson, I have Casey Jones by Grateful Dead.
    For my wife, I have 99 Problems by Jay-Z.
    For my buddy Thomas, I have The Corner by Common.
    For my buddy Dave, I have the NBA on NBC theme song.
    For my buddy Jody, I have King Nothing by Metallica.
    For my buddy Sean, who's 7' tall, I really want I Wish by Skee-Lo.

    Mine are all just generic ones that come with my phone, but my girlfriend INSISTS on having her own personal ringtone. It's that "dont ya wish your girlfriend was hot like me" song.

    What can I do? :D

    I agree 100%.....


    Trust me, nobody cares what you're using for a ring tone. It just annoys the crap out of everyone around you. Put it on vibrate and spare the world of your crappy taste in music. :cool:

    Although, I heard a cow mooing ring tone the other day. I am not sure if a cow mooing is inherently funny, or if it was the relative seriousness of the previous moment, but I got a good laugh out of it.

    I make all of mine on the Focus Mp3 editor I found at download.com.

    Currently I have the intro mixed to the last stanza of outro of "Gettin' Jiggy" as one...

    I mixed an 11 second version of "Shameless" by Garth Brooks (my wife's song for us, I guess you could say)...

    I put "I Could Fall in Love" by Selena on my wife's phone (chorus only)...

    Just a few examples...

    The editor has nice fade in/out effects as well as stereo flange, etc.

    Its easy if you have the time for it, and can count to 4.

    btw- Yes I have the obligatory (for a SW fan) "Imperial March" for when my father calls me.

    Guitar Solo from "All for One" by Stryper as an alarm...
    Also a snippet of "Godsend" by dcTalk for my wife calling me...

    You get the picture... any old CD becomes good ringtone stuff in my house.

    I'm working on some songs from The Police next. :cool:
