Fifth Element - rented it, turned it off after about 30 minutes. Lord of the Rings - yeah, I said it. It's just not my thing. The person with me and I were both about to fall asleep.
One of my buddies rented Vertical Limit... we turned that one off about an hour in. Can't think of any others though.
I didn't walk out because I was with a group, but "Meet Joe Black" was the most excruciating movie experience of my life. About 3 times as long as it should have been, with literally NOTHING happening... no action, terrible dialogue. The sole highlight was the awesome scene of Brad Pitt getting nailed by traffic. "The Thin Red Line" was tedious as hell, too, but at least it was something I couldn't predict, so I stuck it out. Usually films featuring combat are a pretty moving for me, but this one did nothing for me, I'm afraid.
I dont walk out on too many movies but The House of the Dead was the crappiest piece of crap ever put out...
My dad took me to see "Blue Chips" when I was in 4th grade and he made us walk out after like 15 minues.
the godzilla remake in the mid 90s as soon as they lost godzilla in the middle of the freakin city i was out also jurassic park 3, the fact that as soon as grant and co landed their lives were in danger every other minute, while that punk little kid was there for like 2 weeks by himself with no problems
I haven't walked out of a movie before but i have missed many parts of movies due to extra activities =P
Maybe I wasn't looking deep enough at the time, but no, I guess the spiritual aspect didn't intrigue me. I just thought it was lame.
I walked out of Virus to go have sex in the car with my girlfriend at that time. Did you know the windows really do fog up?!
couldn't walk out of Dude Where's My Car, b/c of friends but man did I want out of there Evolution is the only one I've gotten out of successfully, David Duchovny acting hip was just painful, although I would admit it was probably the biggest stretch of his career
Ritche is making a new movie. I didn't realize he had another movie after Snatch (Swept Away). Looks kinda stupid though, did anybody get a chance to see it?
To top it, that's like saying "'Sgt. Pepper' is good, but 'Revolver' is much better." Two brilliant movies.
Snatch has either aged horribly or my tastes have drastically changed. I absolutely loved that movie when it came out, but I tried to watch it about a month ago and couldn't watch more than half of it.
