    here's some social commentary for ya. random... but it just came to my mind when i read that. there's actually an alarming dearth of Chinese professors. especially considering the overwhelming abundance of Chinese post-docs.

    one of my friends had a chinese professor, his last name was Sun. Carlos Sun. now there's a name that bridges ethnicities.

    Well, you guys are close. I'm a late 20's Indian.

    I probably did mention my ethnicity once. I don't think my posts give off an "Indian vibe"...:)

    Ha ha this is getting fun --- I picture Behad as a hurricane weather forecaster -- a young Ed Brandon. :D

    Twhy I always pictured Macbeth as Robin William's character not the students.

    Well this is fun but it's hard to describe mental images of anyone here without being semi-offensive. ;)

    My hair is still "long," just not like before. At one point, it was down to my waist (prior to 2000). I'm still working on correcting the fat part, but I'm better than I was. ;)

    You see, and this whole time I've always thought GreenVegan was a skinny white dude. I've always pictured that you look a lot like Moby, since I'm pretty sure he is a vegan.
