I love that we are almost always the underdog and find a way to win sometimes. FAn since 85-'86 when the twin towers dominated and all feared Hakeem.
seeing tmac showcase his amazing game, battier's hustle, yao's moves (the ones that the defender can literally see coming, cause yao is pretty slow, but can do nothing about it) luther's ice cold 3's, chuck's rebounding, deke's spry performance of late, rafer's occasional and1 move, and all the jump shots juwan makes! and the hope i feel when i see bonzi playing!
I first started watching the rockets cause of yao (living in australia). Now I watch the rockets because of all the special players we have, how they look like a contender on paper and gives you so much disappointment that yet it gives you even higher hope for the next season. Can't remember how many times I swore I will never watch the rockets again after a heart felt loss but I would find myself sitting in front of the computer screen the next game watching PBPs (yes, no NBA broadcasting here unless you get pay tv). Can't get enough of it.
Cuz I am from H-Town. I will support any major Houston team through thick and thin, including the Texans.
I been a T-Mac fan since day one in Toronto when I played with him in NBA Courtside for Nintendo 64. Followed ever since.
to see what stupid substitution combination jeff van gundy uses next. and to see wh o is gonna be in van gundy's dog house.
I've been a fan since the late '80s. Sleepy Floyd was my favorite player along with Mr. Mean. Now, I'm in LOVE with T-MAC.
Seriously, I am a soccer fan. But in US, nobody likes soccer. I have to choose a team in somewhere which is Rockets because of Yao. Now because of the whole team, really enjoy it.
you know, i heard that is one of the top ten things to see when visiting Houston, but... i couldn't find it
