What makes you and your spouse/significant other different?

my wife doesn't light her farts every single time she blows one out

 

my girlfriend likes fried okra, and i dont.

 

She's a little bit country, and I'm a little bit rock and roll.

 

Well, I'm always with myself and she's usually soon-to-be-replaced by a different one.

 

Our place of residence.

 

She is a details person and I am a "big picture at the expense of everything" person

She is more math, I am more creativity

She is more even keel, I am all over the map

Are brains are so very different...we cannot comprehend the way the other thinks...but we usually come to the same or similar conclusions anyway

She can enjoy movies and such more easily than I...more willing to suspend disbelief and just enjoy

She is cold, I am hot - I agree, this one sucks

I am a good cook, she is great at baking

All I can think of...I think we are an almost perfect mix of similar but different

She farts, you don't....

 

I have tons of common sense while he has almost none.

He's very very very inconsiderate, while I try to take care of everyone before myself.

I'm always cold, while he seems to radiate heat. lol

He likes tall girls, I like short ones.

He eats enough to feed a family in one sitting, while I have trouble finishing a normal sized serving.

He's lazy, me, not so much.

Lots more, but I have to go back to class now..

She is very short and I am tall.

She is more scientific and math-oriented, while I am more of a literature/daydreamer type of person.

Her emotions are very steady, while I am moody and excitable.

She cooks from recipes, while I cook from instinct. She is a better baker (pies, cakes, etc..), but I am better at cooking meals.

She is very often late for appointments, while I am always early.

She likes to run in the early morning. I would never sacrifice such precious sleep. I prefer to run in the evening.

She is less prone to temperature change than me.

She gives long, detailed explanations. I get straight to the point, often omitting details.

Her great passion is the environment. Mine is whatever fantasy sports team I have on the go at the moment.

 

I'm good with money, she isn't

She talks on the phone a lot. At home, I'm on the phone < five times per week. I rarely answer the phone even when I'm home alone. Her friends almost go catatonic when I answer because it's so rare. It's funny.

She is trusting. I'm very distrustful.

She's an optimist. I'm a realist.

She's moody. I'm even-keeled.

I'm confrontational and direct. She avoids conflict.

I'm very good at math. She's terrible at math.

I like action movies. She likes romance movies.

She loves shopping. I hate it passionately.

She talks. I listen.
She cooks. I eat.
I make money. She spends it.
I make a mess. She cleans it up.
I snore. She stays awake.

In sooooooooo many ways, it's amazing how the other makes up for what the other lacks. Seems like every skill I lack she does well and everything she is weak in I'm good at. We have some very important things in common but by and large my wife and I are classic exact opposites.

 

She is more passive. I'm aggressive...
I love guns, she feels uncomfortable and says it's fine with her as long as she doesn't go in the "gun room"...
She is cold and I'm hot natured...
She is much more organized, I'm much less...
She is actually more stern with the girls, I'm less stern...
Her eyes are very dark to the point of being black, I have a combination of blue eyes with yellow surrounding the pupil...

O yea, I'm stronger and faster

Oh and I forgot to add whats funny is that even though he likes tall girls, im only 5'0....weird.

So yea, I'm short and he's tall.
