What makes Patrick Mahomes better than Deshaun Watson?

One major area I believe where Watson is way above Mahomes is LEADERSHIP.

 

He showed how smart he is for trading up to snag Mahomes.

 

Hands down Mahomes is the better qb

 

I wouldn't say the qb difference is that dramatic. Watson is a proven winner/leader (not everyone could beat Alamaba). Mahomes has a better arm. Both have the it factor or clutch where they can make magic appear when it really matters.

Watson is hinder and held by an inferior coach, and oline. U don't need a godlike qb to win it all, u just need a complete team. We r lacking that, especially at secondary.

 

Don’t matter I’m happy Rick gave us DW4. A franchise qb finally for this team.

Watson has been really hesitant to run, don't know what that's about, maybe his body is feeling it. There was a play earlier where the lane was right there for maybe at least an easy 5 yards running (and who knows how more once he gets going) but nope, just threw it to the left for a check down that got nothing.

Omg, dude, honestly I like most of your takes, but this is horrible...Watson missed a lot of open receivers today, held on to the ball (way too long as usual), and made bad throws to covered receivers...BOB ain’t a good coach...but when guys were open he effed up...a lot.

 

Comparing Watson to Mahomes is idiotic. He may be the best QB this team has ever had but he's not Mahomes level.

 

People are comparing our starting QB to the defending MVP. Obviously Watson is better than those 3 you mentioned.

 

Watson wasn’t good today, no doubt, but in general he is not set up to succeed with this O-line and coaching staff. U seriously disagree on that? Do u think Mahomes would be as good as he is if he was a Texan this whole time? Hell nah. Mahomes is obviously better, and Watson clearly has his flaws, but he is not being done any favors.
