The thing a hiring manager wants to see on any resume is experience. Even if the experience doesn't pertain to the position, it is important to know what the person you are interviewing has done in the past.
i went to a workshop back in January and I was told that 1 page is ideal. Only have a 2 page resume if you're up there in years. in that case, you are supposed to only list the last 10 years of experience, nothing more.
