I listen to a bit of everything.

Classic Rock, R & B, Easy Listening, Progressive Rock, Classical, Opera, modern Country, Alternative, Big Band, etc etc.

Artists I never leave home without (aka the cds in my car):

Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Oasis, Offspring, Lily Allen, Beastie Boys, JayZ, Puccini, Genesis (Duke - just had to clarify), Meredith Brooks, The Killers, Jack Johnson, Timbaland, & The Beatles (One)

hmm I just realized I don't have any country in my car. Interesting.

I really love -new- music and bands. There are very few bands that can keep it fresh. Even Pearl Jam, the band that came out with what I consider the best album ever, can't keep it fresh for me. I can listen to their old stuff, but their new stuff just doesn't resonate with me. It's like this with pretty much all bands that I love. The possible exception is electronica (trance/house/techno or whatever you want to call it).

Great album - probably my favorite Genesis studio album (and I have them all except for the debut, "Genesis to Revelation").

I listen to a lot of stuff. Right now I seem to be in a mix of quartets and concertos (Schubert, Prokofiev, & the like) with some Mahler symphonies and lieder always in heavy rotation.

Also some Kurt Elling for jazz vocals (with SV and Nina always in rotation).

I just replaced my lost and broken Nirvana CD's so that is in play.

Actually, a lot of my often disparate collection is in play due to my auditioning and now owning of new speakers. Just yesterday I threw in some Megadeth Rust in Peace for kicks.

I do not listen to country (but I can come close with classic bluegrass and American folk), current "bubblegum pop," and "adult contemporary" but that is about it. Everything else can go through my ears.
