    Will do! I'm actually going to try to go in some fashion. If I can't get in as a delegate or alternate, I'm going to try to go with the Ron Paul campaign, the Ted Poe campaign, or maybe even as a RNC volunteer.

    I watched last Sunday's episode of HBO's Adams last night. I had for gotten that the Republican Party was started by Thomas Jefferson to oppose the notion of a strong federal government.

    I think you have it mixed up. Thomas Jefferson started the Democratic Party. The Republicans didn't start until about 50 years after Jefferson's presidency. Also the Republicans for a long time were the public of big government while the Democrats for most of their history were the party of states rights.
