Verizon Venus. Only bought it due to new every two and got it for $99.00. Touch screen, 2mp cam, video, navigation, hi fi web browser, music. If I could only find the button that makes the HEARING part thing work better. I was so used to the clarity of the Razr.
Personally, I had to get older, but man it got colder. I done grown up and got a chip on my shoulder. MAAAAAAAAN!
My nephew had an iPhone for about a month. He didn't dislike it....he just thought he could do better. He ebayed and bought what I have: blackberry curve. He's much happier now.
iPhone may look the coolest but the phone features itself is nothing special. Way too overpriced. They have great marketing that pulls you in though. It worked on some Clutchfans.
Hacked iPhone ftw! Angkor, you may be right about the features, but the UI, display, and touch experience really make the phone first-rate. I highly doubt you'd be talking about "great marketing" if you actually sat down and used the damn thing for a few hours.
I can have my choice of Blackberries through the office and I still prefer the iphone over any of them and I've used them all. The iphone is a great device and if you have one hacked like you a and I do they are even better. Apple is just scratching the surface with the current Iphone. The GUI is far superior to anything out there.
I don't have a contract with anyone (currently on Verizon) and I'm looking to replace our phones. Need 2 good ones for us and 2 cheap camera phones for the kids. Verizon has great coverage, but not internationally. They also don't have the best choice in phones, from what I've seen. Would love to have internet access, if it isn't too expensive. It bugs me to think of paying for RoadRunner, which I really like, and to pay a lot for access from my cell phone provider. So I'll be checking this thread. If anyone has suggestions, put them out there!
I had one for about 4 months. It is a solid phone but my screen was filling up with lint so I had to get it sent back and there was a deal on the TILT so I switched. Man I had all sorts of software on my blackjack, Divx player, NES Rom,Opera, etc. Phone is solid. Only issue I ever had were the keys were a little small. That and there is no different vibration to distinguish between calls and email/texts.
I am surprised how many people have the iphone. Regardless of what haters say about it the best thing is that it will force all the competition to come out with better technology and also lower prices due to competition.
I have a Razr Nothing special about it, though I do like all the bling cases that I can buy for 10 bucks. Right now I have a UK blue one with rhinestones around the center screen.
Cingular 3125 I can get my IMAP email on it and surf the web. I only have it because of my son. I don't like cell phones and had no use for one until the kid came along.
