Bah, I have 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo... Pros.... Cant think of any Cons.... Horrible on gas, old, super expensive, unreliable, needs a new front right wheel bearing ..... Dont get me wrong, I love this car... Been working on it for almost three years. When I baught this car it was not running, its been a challenge for sure to get this supra back on the road..... Alot has been to done to the car, for future hp ..... First picture taken of the car before I baught it.. Old engine out New Engine In/ as well many other goodies 3 years later 1 month ago my upgraded ct26 67 trim arrived 3 years later 1 month ago after turbo install and hundreds of more stuff done to it .... Too much to say (being lazy).. Sorry for long post ..
2000 Buick Century (350,000+ miles): Pros: Awesome car that runs well and the a/c works. Paid for. I love this car. Will help keep the miles down on the new car (see bottom). Cons: Paint job looks horrible and I'm too cheap. Rear windows don't work. 2004 Chevy Impala (140,000 miles): Pros: Looks great, runs great, paid for. Cons: None 2010 Lincoln MKS (bought 3 weeks ago) Pros: Wife loves it and it made her birthday very happy. Fully loaded. Incredible vehicle. Cons: Just made my first car payment in 2 years. Not allowed to drive it unless my wife is with me. Only have one keyless lock/ignition unit and another one costs $300.00.
Wife: Honda CRV Pros: paid for Cons: not a truck Mine: HD 2011 TriGlide (bought it about 3 weeks ago) Pros: wife LOVES it. now she'll go everywhere with me (this is very important! ) Cons: not a two-wheeler. Although I'm not missing the curves as much as I thought I would
2002 HD 883 sportster. Pros It was super cheap. Fun to ride on daily commute in Austin. Great gas mileage 50+ Cons A little wet when it rains Idiots in cars and trucks on cell phones.
2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid Pros: I love everything about the car. Cons: 1st Generation of Hybrid Fusion. It uses a more up to date hybrid technology from the Ford Escape so I'm not too worried about it. It's not as efficient in cold weather. I think its because the battery that runs in EV mode takes longer to heat up. Some trips around Austin I can get over 60 mpg. Other trips it can go as low as 35 mpg. It varies. Doesn't have Homestar for your garage door and you can't flip the back seats to create more space for your trunk because of the placement of the battery.
2008 Nissan Xterra S CONS: Bad gas milage... I get 20 mpg. It's got a blind spot on each side of the rear tire. Easily overcome with good mirror placement. PROS: Roomy. Great ride. Fast... lots of horsepower. Drove to New Orleans with 3 other people quite comfortably.
2008 Chevrolet Avalanche - Black on 24's Pros: I use the E85 gas that is cheap 1.98 just yesterday. Good power and great looker. Having the bed is useful in hauling stuff. Cons: Not great on gas mileage especially adding the 24's. Can not haul big stuff cause the small bed. 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Pros: Lots of room and has 3rd row seat. Rides smooth and good power. Cons: Gas Mileage. Keep having issue with rear door lock. 1970 El Camino SS - Black 402 cu 6.6L Pros: Fast and lots of power Head turner Cons: Gas mileage Have to watch out for rust 2006 Big Dog Chopper - Black 1916 CC's Pros: Comfortable ride Fast Cons: Rides longer then 2 hours are not as comfortable. Trying to keep clean is a bia.
2010 F-150 XLT SuperCrew Pros: Space for family Comfortable Sync system is pretty awesome Probably my favorite vehicle that I've ever owned Cons: Gas mileage...but for a V8, I'm getting about 16 in the city which isn't bad. 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Pros: It was free and it runs Cons: Has over 130,000 miles and things are starting to wear out Needs new windshield
1997 Tacoma. Pros: Indestructible. Other than an 02 sensor, everything else has been rock solid through 135k miles. Paid for. Cons: Some jackass t-boned me and left a big dent in the passenger side. Insurance would have totaled it so...I have a dent. 2006 Vibe. Pros: Toyota engine. Good mpg. Reliable and safe. Paid for. Cons: Space in the back can get tight on long road trips with the family. Pontiac no longer exists. 1968 VW westfalia van. Pros: Timeless, mechanically simple, and the same one my father drove. Cons: Needs quite a bit more work and I have no time.
My last company car was a 2010 Fusion (non-hybrid). Those cars have the best seats of any car I've ever driven. It's amazingly comfortable. That's not something you can pick up on a test drive, but it's amazing. Then I got hit and they replaced it with an Impala.
2009 chevy malibu pros: gas, great interior, spacious, a real panty-dropper ....i just love my car cons: dont have 20"s yet!!
My Car: 2006 Cadillac CTS Pros - smooth ride, relatively spacious, distinct look (w/ custom rims), good power Cons - gas guzzler, cheap interior, drinks oil like crazy, skids in rain due to RWD Wife's Car: 2004 BMW 330ci Pros - fun to drive, great look as it's fully loaded, Cons - expensive to maintain, electrical issues, small, overly bumpy ride Next target car: Tesla S
Pros: Gets me from a to b pretty easily. Cons: Kind of a bumpy ride. And whenever I hit 88 mph, its such a b****! I hate going back in time!!!
