Reggie Bush is a no brainer. If we end up with the #1 pick then we can't pass this guy up. I know McNair will give Carr another shot which is a mistake IMO and as far as coaching I think Jimmy Johnson will be the best man for the job.

Could be worse. We could have Matt Millen.

I think it's funny that, not that long ago, Casserly was lauded as a genius on this board for drafting Drew Henson and parlaying him into a pick that was three rounds higher than the one we used on him. But I agree, the Travis Johnson pick was horrible, the Seth Wand pick looks to be just as bad. Gaffney hasn't exactly lit the scoreboard up (although he has been solid)...and I forget that one guy named Hill or something that was drafted in the third round and was cut long ago. He's had some real duds so far for this team (I don't count Joppru...no way you could see that coming).

yes, he did a good job in acquiring those picks from dallas. but he turned those picks from dallas into...NOTHING. that's why it looks so bad now.

If your GM, you might want to look for another job. ;)

Why would we want Vince Young, we have andre johnson already. They would be the same type of receivers.

I couldn't believe they passed up D. Johnson when they had the chance. I was so excited when he was on the board and it was our pick and then I was let down. I remember Dom saying he didn't fit in well with the 3-4 defense, LOL. What a loser!

Have you seen what teams have fetched for the #1 overall pick lately? San Diego got 2 #1's and a #2 from the Giants in the Eli Manning deal. They also got 2 #1's from Atlanta in the Michael Vick deal.

This Texans team needs help everywhere, and desperately needs to stockpile talent. Guys like Eric Winston and Jonathan Scott will be able to come in and start right away at OT.

Did anyone see Skip Bayless on Cold Pizza. He predicted that the QB from Vanderbilt would be the first QB selected-- maybe even the first player. I don't think he was kidding either...

Yep, 2 #1's and a 2nd Rounder should be the minimum.
