I always watch EVERY second of every rox game. This holds true for me whether they are in contention or not. I know most everyone here is like this too.

Given that the Rox won't be relevant until maybe 2-3 yrs from now,

What keeps you interested during a game?

For me it is captured in this pic below:

The clutchfans chat window.....right now it is far more entertaining than the basketball the team is playing.

I hate that Parson's is getting time over Morris... Another Budinger is staying and another Patterson(I think Morrises Potential is greater) going to the D-League... It's a crime..

I like watching this team compete. Lowry, Scola, Lee and Martin play hard IMO.

Also, I just like learning new stuff about basketball in general. Advanced stats, new plays, adjustments, rotations, etc. I know very little, so new insights are cool to learn.

The rockets is a 30+ year habit that I can't break. Damn that Moses Malone and the finals run.

Whenever Scola starts dancing down on the post and then suddenly tosses the ball in the hoop like it's all fun and games.

Imagine is a C had Scolas moves, oh wait, Hakeen did it.

Both the quality and quantity of dunks we give up.

Our Defense... it makes our opponent fun to watch especially the Clippers.

Sadly nothing right now, it's just painful to watch.
There are far more entertaining or hustling teams in this league and I don't have enough time to watch Rockets games just because they're my favourite franchise.
I rather watch games that excite me instead of frustrating the hell out of me.

This team disgusts me. I love the Houston Rockets, don't get me wrong. But I also care about basketball and this team just doesn't have it together.

Right now I watch solely for Lowry's passionate play and McHale's intermittent (crap, cant believe its come to this) commentary -- I appreciate his fiery personality and candid approach.

Other than that... man. Slim pickings. I'll enjoy watching Patterson once he gets his act together.

The development of young promising players; however, it seems as if Parsons is the only Rocket who has shown glimpses. In the past, we've seen the emergence of players such as Brooks, Landry, etc., but this year... let's just say everything is a bit underwhelming.

Thanks. I miss all the dunks from C. Bud and P. Pat.

I know P. Pat is not 100% right now, but I hope we see some nice slams from him.

    C. Bud, why is he not back cutting for a rim rattling dunk anymore:confused:

Because the offense has changed, it is no longer Adelmans read and react, now it is Lowry drive and dish and if you cut at the wrong time you clog the lane for Kyle.

As I said, Kyle's stats will go up, but the team will be worse overall.....the system sucks.

Watching Scola run away from penetrating ball handlers like they're carrying live bombs to the rack.
