It is unbelievable and incredible how much help Harden is getting from Morey.

I wish I had a PG, whoops they got Lawson the next instant.... well I think Ty is not enough, let's get another distributor, next one Josh Smith....

Before that I cannot really play on both ends and therefore we should surround myself with defenders - Dwight, Ariza.....

He is getting virtually anything he wants while guys like McGrady, Kevin Martin, Steve Francis did not get that kind of help.

He should be thankful. And we should be champions by now. We are not!

Or he desperately needs a stretch four(or someone like Smith at least) to open up his game like GSW, Spurs, Okc,, Clips,Mavs. Someone who can shoot from mid-range at least.

This take is, off, on the situation

You basically say HARDEN is the one creating EVERY single roster move from his PERSONAL demands to management.

Dwight Howard acquisition was NOT BASED on Harden "wanting" him. Morey has been chasing Dwight Howard before Harden even became a Rocket. Might as well say Harden initiated Omer Asik onto the team.

Ariza was a CLEAR CUT compensatory Plan B move because Plan A Chandler Parsons weaseled his way out. Harden did NOT go to management demanding perimeter defense.

The only reported Harden influence is wanting to keep Jason Terry and wanting help at guard. Thats not exactly Harden wanting a custom-fit team tailored to his preference

No I am telling he is close to getting 80% what he wants... he does not demand a specific player, but he gets one of those on a list

Obviously there are contracts, numbers to consider but essentially he is getting a lot of help

and he should be having a better record and better offseason preparation essentially

He is not creating every roster move but he is kept "happy" by Morey (more than Tmac and Yao for that matter IMO) and I doubt that will keep him from moving to LA or anywhere else where the grass is greener

so what/who else does harden still need?

    a "true" stretch 4?
    a "respectable" coach?

am i missing anything? maybe an onsite strip club inside of tc?~

Is it a bad thing to need a stretch 4, something virtually every team in the NBA wants, or a good head coach, something virtually any team that considers themselves a contender in the NBA needs to win?

Your original post sounded quite sarcastic. If not, fair enough.

You can thank the historically great Golden State Warriors for that. That juggernaut in the Bay Area is the only reason we don't already have a ring.

Harden rebounding has helped because he outlets the ball and let's others get some early offensive looks which are often better than late offense looks.

We could have lebron James or even Kevin durant instead of JH and we still wouldn't win a title, warriors are just that good.

You guys are delusional if you think we can better with another player.

The rockets are going to have to wait for that magic moment to strike like we did in 94/95. The Warriors are young and not going anywere.

There's not a single player we can swap harden for that's going to change that. Not lebron not Kd not Westbrook, AD or the unknown Ben Simmons.

Just stop with that stupid argument, because it's flat out false.

Add Davis or KD to Harden and dwight and maybe we can win a championship but swapping guys who you deem better wouldn't change a thing..... Your still losing to Golden state in the WCF like Harden did last year.

Harden rebounding also means that he's probably out of position on D haha. It's a mixed blessing.

    Bogut is 31.
    Barbosa is 33
    Rush is 30
    Iguodala is 31
    Livingston is 30

Their bench is getting to that age where they drop off in dramatic fashion. But I have no doubt that they can re-up their bench in a matter of a few days during FA
