    Which part of that dialogue?

I half agree with Rogan's last comment: the problem of extreme poverty is neglected by most segments of our political spectrum. Some want to judge the poor, some want to anger and exploit them, and still others want to pretend that poverty would magically disappear if we dealt with racism or something like that. And parts of the far left (not all of it) now relegate poverty to a distance ranking behind issues of race and even gender identity. That's a shame, IMHO.

Why Rogan lumps crime on an equal footing with poverty in this country is strange to me, given historical trends. But that kind of prioritization fits a standard fear-mongering, video-clip-posting fascination and addiction of some on the right to pointing and gasping at what crime we do have. That has felt true my entire life. "Let's get a new deadbolt / alarm system and keep track of all the latest bad, scary news from within our hopefully-safe homes." Heck, maybe that's just part of human nature.

Anyway, I do think if "woke" incorporated more about class, drug addiction (huge issue), and poverty, I would get closer to being more "woke." One reason I liked the book Demon Copperhead so very much.

b****ing about wealthy inequality is literally the raison d'etre of leftist speak.

So there are sides of the politicians spectrum b****es about it.

Ironically Joe Rogan helps the corporate elite by engaging in culture wars nonsense. Same thing with Bill Maher.

What these people do is find some Twitter thread of leftist taking about "identity politics" and ignore the massive amounts of discussion about community involvement in homeless shelter, fighting evictions etc.

I want to ask Bill Maher who has his own platform.tp discuss anything he wants which shows his priorities once mentioned anything about cartels forming on things like rent pricing using software algorithms.

I have a feeling he never discussed these things and only b****es about "wokeism"

This conversation is just so incredibly boring. Rogan and Maher really have run out of anything interesting to discuss to get clicks so they’ve reverted desperately to the kind of loser who think Ted Cruz and Ben Shapiro are cool.

The only woke agenda out there is corporate America trying to make money off of young people who are entering the market place while old racists like your boomer uncle Lee settle into retirement and mooching off the government with their social security checks.
