It seems to me that when the liberals on this board get rough with the folks on the right here, the right-wing folks call foul and complain. When the libs call foul, they get told to essentially stop being soft.

Seems like a pretty big double standard.

probably. you do have to admit, however, that chowd is seemingly one of the most humorless posters on the board.

 

Everyone has a sense of humor, everyone is capable of laughing. Some people just take things more seriously than others. I think he comes from a good place regardless. In any case, I'm not trying to evaluate people that much just have debate and challenge ideas. It's interesting that people get upset with that and feel the need to make personal attacks or assessments.

Posters on here do it to me, and see they do it to you too. So we got that in common at least.

Well I already volunteer. I do AAU, hit up 3rd and even so El Gato for cats. Haven't heard once where you volunteer (you're lying) You're full of ****

 

I knew you'd go there. I think people get frustrated with us because we don't cross that line. You post your opinions, which are mocking and condemning of things liberals hold dear, but without any personal attack, and that gets feathers more ruffed up than if you just attacked people. I do the same. While I have done my best to avoid personally attacking anyone, I still attack ideas and opinions, and that I feel is more infuriating than anything I ever did before.

I think it's fascinating how much we strongly disagree on just about everything, yet there's no anger or animosity.
