As impotent as Tom Cruise is I have to say Magnolia is awesome.

    Also, Rushmore.

Again, there's no way that movies overrated. Critics loved it and it has a huge following.

I had to wait until I got home from law firm job to make mine. Going through my DVD list:

    Jackie Brown
The Man Who Knew Too Little
    Grosse Pointe Blank
The Cable Guy (Don't ever go bungee jumping in Mexico...they just don't have the regulations.)
    Kingpin
    Vanilla Sky
    The Score
    Bring It On
    The Whole Nine Yards
    The Long Kiss Goodnight
    Dog Day Afternoon
    Clueless
    The Mexican

    Best in Show (brilliant movie)
    Solaris
    Gattaca
    The Green Mile
    Hackers (Angelina Jolie  )

    Cabin Boy
Beavis and Butthead do America (both for extremely low-brow humor)

    Rocketman,

You've got to be kidding about Vanilla Sky.

How about "The Man who Wasn't There" with Billy Bob Thorton.

You would think that Rushmore would be more popular. It was filmed here in Houston. There is a scene or two at Delmar Stadium.

    "These are O.R. scrubs."

    "Oh, are they???"

    :)

I agree with Baseketball %100, That is easily one of the my favorite movies of all time.

everyone seemed to hate Signs, but I enjoyed it, probably because of my perspectives on faith.

Black Sheep and Beverly Hills Ninja are great Farley flicks that should be cherished throughout the world.

I don't believe the move Angus ever got its run.

The soundtrack to the movie is pretty good also.

It has Green Day on it.

There is this one song from Love Spit Love that sounds really good. It's called "Am I Wrong?"

Signs gets my vote. Scared the heck outta me! But it made me think and go through so many other emotions. Excellent flick!

One of Brad Pitt's best (and least known) flicks. He is probably one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. He plays a kook as well as anybody, maybe except for Jack Nicholson.

Dude I swear, you are like my clone. I thought Angus was awesome and I thought I was the only person to ever hear that Love Spit Love song, also love their remake of "How Soon is Now?" which is the theme for Charmed. Plus I thought I was the only dude to like Alley Baggett. :D

    Ah, I beg to differ.

I don't remember Rushmore making a peep at the box office when if first came out. Of course now, it has a cult following as it should but I believe that was after it came out on video. I could be wrong.

I forgot about Angus. Great movie. Not just another teen angst movie. The soundtrack also had You Gave Your Love To Me Softly, a great Weezer B-side. Oddly enough, I think Angus's redheaded friend was also in Rushmore.
