Definitely in: Harden Lin Beverley Parsons Delfino Garcia Asik Smith And I'd choose Jones for the 9th spot. Maybe Montejunas if he shows his stuff in the last remaining games, or any of the guys for that matter.
Jones has gone from buried on the bench and toiling in the d-league to a key player in rotation. So happy to see this guy FINALLY get a well deserved chance, he's earned it.
Lin - Beverley Harden - Garcia Parsons - Delfino Smith - Jones Asik Jones comes in, smith slides over to 5. Parsons and Delfino will play the 4. Then might see robinson, moti or anderson come in for certin situations.
By the time playoffs roll around, deep bench is one of those things coaches always disregard for the guys he trust.I think the 9-man rotation is going to be in name only. More likely, Asik(35+), Parsons(40+), Delfino(30+), Harden(40+), Lin(30+), Beverley(20+), and Smith(20+) will get solid minutes, and everyone else may or may not have token minutes depending on matchup.
It's pretty much the 7 guys we all know + probably Garcia and either Jones / D-Mo. I think Jones will take it since he has 3 good games under his belt already after not playing with the team for a long time. Also taken into account that Anderson & D-Mo only played 6 minutes last night, I don't see them making a strong case for themselves in these last 4 games. I would be surprised if Garcia is not part of the rotation, he has done very well lately.
