Daryl Morey, or cyberx. Harden and Hong Kong, then gave us 2 dump years and maybe more.

CP3 the year before the Westbrook trade. He was worst than bad and he had just got paid considering the season before. Hamstrings heal but his play didn’t that season. Over paid and he laid down. He as much said so in interviews. “He was an embarrassment to himself”. Overall he is a great person and player but that one season he was overhyped as a “point God” and he just wasn’t. THAT ONE SEASON

This is the correct answer, all other answers are thus by definition incorrect.

If we correct for recency bias and focus on our internal CF hype, I suspect the answer is Griffin.

Yao Ming - this will not be a popular opinion because he was a good player but nowhere close to the superstar level many made him out to be

Dwight Howard - he could have been great here if he would have embraced the pick-n-roll. Instead he thought he was the second coming of Dream while in reality he was useless more than a couple of feet from the basket.

    Hands down scottie pippen
He was supposed to help us win multiple championships and got roasted by Glen Rice.

Barkley did not help us win a championship but did help us beat the sonics and we were one buzzer beater away from potentially going to the finals.

Tmac was a exciting get but I didn't immediately think that we were going to win a championship though it was disappointing that we never got out of first round with him healthy.

    I hated that trade
T-Mac went on to justify my hatred of it

    He was so underwhelming

I'll say Josh Smith, Russell Westbrook, Thomas Robinson, and Marquese Chriss since no one has mention them.

And hopefully not Jabari Smith, that summer league performance was a let down.

    WAT?

Josh Smith orchestrated one of the all time great playoff wins in Rockets history. And they got him off the scrap heap for absolutely nothing. Dude is the opposite of anyone that should be on this list

You think having Steve Francis would have been better?

The team as constructed was swinging up

    Francis was getting better
    Cuttino was getting better
Cato was the PF we never really replaced
I think we still had Jim Johnson Jackson maybe (? the former Maverick from the Mashburn/Kidd era)

We NEVER GOT FURTHER Than the Last Francis Cat Team
and we PLAYED FAR INFERIOR OPPONENTS

Francis/Cat lost to a Kobe Shaq Lakers with Karl Malone and Gary Payton unless I am mistaken
We never played a team better than that during the TMac era
and We lost to all of them

You're telling beside that game 6 you didn't want to pull your hair out when he was chucking up 3s? He was bad from the line as well.
