The Lindt Truffles around Christmastime are TEH YUMM. However, how can this thread be on the second page and no one has mentioned Godiva? I am not a choco-freak or anything, but Valentine's Day comes around and there I am in the Godiva shop buying a nice big bos of them for my wife, and thus the rest of the family to share over the subsequent next few weeks, and they are always perfectly wonderful. I have had the Ferro's, and they are good too, sort of a novelty.. don't like Dove for some reason, maybe it melts too easily or something, and then it is just goo in the mouth .. (hehehe don't go there). I understand Ritter Sports are supposed to be good, a lot of my friends brought back their wrapper collections from when they were in Europe.. American chocolate is just kind of bush league compared to the rarified stuff, it's good and all, but in a whole different class.
I'd have to say Joseph Schmidt, if you really want to be high-tone and decadent. I still use these for the occasional present.
