You want McGrady gone because you call him a ball stopper. He doesn't move the ball and the offense doesn't flow when he is in the line-up but you have Vince Carter in your line-up I've seen it all. Vince and McGrady have somewhat similar games. P.S- Why no Corey Maggette?
PG Ricky Rubio - Aaron Brooks SG Ron Artest - Von Wafer SF Shane Battier - Trever Ariza- James White PF Luis Scola - Carl Landry C Yao Ming - Marcin Gortat
Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry Joe Johnson/Von Wafer Ron Artest/Shane Battier/James White Luis Scola/Hakim Warrick/Carl Landry Yao Ming/Chris Anderson I would love this team... it has heart, desire, and balance.
Well since what is being asked is only for the "dream lineup" I would go: Hakeem PF Bird SF Wilt C Jordan SG Magic PG Seriously, I would be happy with the Rockets line up next year that would have Yao, Scola, Battier, an elite pg, a solid sg and a good and big back up c. All the other positions would be icing on the cake.
5 Percent my arse Steve Nash | Kyle Lowry AB | Von Wafer Ron Artest | Anthony Randolph Andris Biedrins | Luis Scola (6th man) | Chuck Hayes Yao Ming | Andris Biedrins Mine is based off a couple of the past trade rumors. This would lessen YMings minutes, sitting yao more often and sliding Andris to center, giving Scola the same amount of minutes as last year. AB and Lowry did quite well as a pair and I believe AB would make a better SG (on offense at the least). Nash was just another rumor floating around. Tmac and Landry and Battier (the last person I'd rather not give up but...) are trade materials.
Here's Mine: PG: Arenas/Lowry/Lue SG: Hamilton/Wafer/Barry SF: Battier/Artest/White PF: Scola/Landry/Hayes C: Yao/Thabeet/Mutombo!(Resign for one more year) Eh, This Realistic?
since said dream team.... C: Wilt/Kareem/Russell PF:Hakeem/Duncan/KG SF:Bird/Lebron/Dr J SG:Jordan/Clyde/Kobe PG:Magic/Big O/Isaih
Maybe with the addition of Warrick and Anderson. And depending on how much Wafer would cover. I don't know.
Brooks/Lowry Artest/Wafer Battier/Artest Scola/Landry/Hayes Yao/Scola/Hayes In my dream, all the current Rockets I know and love are good enough to win a championship. I'd much rather watch homegrown talent win than new guys acquired via trade and free agency who feel like hired mercenaries. This is in fact a dream lineup because no way we are good enough as constituted to win it all.
