    There is a non anonymous poll in the D&D polling for SAT scores. The scores are highly skewered toward the top 10%. It led to a theory by another poster that since the board is 90% Asian the SAT score will tend to be high. It could also be that people with low SAT scores wouldn't participate. So here is my poll to hopefully get to the bottom of this.

    As I said in D&D poll, 750 math 520 Verbal, but I didn't know English before 7th grade, so I am not sure my English ability represent that of the average Asian in this country.

    What's an average SAT score? I have been out of college +15 years and can't remember back to what a good vs bad score is.

    The average SAT score last year was around 1500 out of 2400, which translates to 1000 out of 1600.

    Wait, what scale are we talking about? I chose 1200-1300 but that's on the old 1600 scale. If this is the new 2400 scale then I now seem dumb. lol

    I accidentally put Asian. I probably just ruined the entire poll.

    In any case, the SAT scores were scored differently at different time periods...so a 1300 one year might be great while it would suck another year.

    When I took it, a 1300 was a good target score to get into a top 20 school. I got a 1270.
