What is . . .You Favorite Christopher Walken Movie?

At Close Range. Most underrated Walken performance ever.

 

Brainstorm was tops for me....great great movie.

Dead Zone of course.
the small parts in WW2 and Joe Dirt were pretty good.

and a guilty pleasure....I liked Blast from the Past...Walken was pretty funny in that,

 

Was that the one where he does the long dance routine solo? I was pretty suprised that he's got the moves.

At Close Range was awesome as the Penn brothers dad.

Probably The Dead Zone which was also made by one of my favorite directors. At Close Range and King of New York would also be up there.

 

Have you guys ever scene him in "Pennies From Heaven"? If you hasn't, its like "Chicago" in the sense that it is a musical in a movie or "Greese" is a better example I guess. The guy gets up on a bar and does this awesome tap dance. Apparently he was trained to do more than acting.

I saw "Brainstorm" a few months ago for the first time. That was a pretty good movie

In anything at all? Saturday Night Live, "The Making of the Music": "I've got a disease. And the only cure....is more cowbell." (delivered in New Yowk accent)

 

I just watched Pulp Fiction for the first time last night, his cameo in that was pretty great. Joe Dirt is another pretty good one. Of course the cowbell skit was great, but thats not a movie, but always worthy of mentioning

 

If your going to say it...say it right, it's "I've got a feva and the only prescription is more cowbell"

 

I probably wouldn't like it as much now, but at the time Communion was very creepy (especially the first half).

 

I'm actually reading that book right now, didnt know it was a movie until someone at work told me it was one.
