I know you didn't, Boomer83 did and I took exception to it. I have no problem with anything you've said and I'm all for people who make the case for optimism. I just don't like it when it devolves into name calling and accusations. You haven't done that and I appalud you.

    It isn't, this is:

To paraphrase a line from the immortal Deckard, I guess what I'm saying is:

    Keep GARM Civil.

Im no fair weather fan I bleed Rocket red but DA is just not the right guy (he was a few years ago playing ablility wise) but the guy just seems cant shoot straight and is a little slow. Wesley needs to start making his shots and I saw his stats on Manu and parker were good, so thats nice to see but his shots are affecting the team. Beyond the fact I dont see a trade would benefit this team I think they need time and it will come around in the long run hopefully not too late, barring trade though and Jvg isnt tradeing anyone but I would like to see Spree signed but I dont know if he has lost his step or if hes like Cassell and still has it ?

I'm going to take your sig, and combine it with a line from Anchorman, and a little BBS humor.....

    "I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE POSTING ABOUT!!"

Co-signed. Although, I do believe it is Jeff Van Gundy's job to get the team playing with some intensity instead of just saying how he hates the team isn't playing with intensity in the media. I mean do.......something...... Stromile in the starting lineup? Something, anything..... With each loss we fall further and further behind San Antonio and Dallas.

Nothing wrong with us. Something is wrong with the coach.
The role of fans is to support the team and give opinions when needed. The role of coach is to lead the team in a right way.

It's overreacting crybabies who want immediate results. A lot of you whiners are ready to give the coach and team a failing grade for the season after watching 5 games the team has played with it's full roster intact. I'm just glad the players and coaches of the Houston Rockets aren't this weak and that they know how to handle defeat and struggles better than some of the sorry excuse for houston rocket fans around here. Because how they handle defeat now will determine this teams success in the future. Only the gutless around here are ready to mail it in and are pointing fingers and looking to place blame.

i don't see how saying that da and wesley suck is being a fairweather fan.....they do suck. have you seen them play? i think changes do need to be made within the next week, either trade or rotation changes by gundy because this group, especially in the backcourt isn't getting it done. i think there are very legitmate reasons to gripe because we look like crap. but i will never be categorized as a fairweather fan because i'll always be in support of my team regardless of how bad we play.

I think the people ragging on the Rockets for their slow start are probably the same people who expected this team to win 60+ games.

Anyway, who cares. The games have been entertaining. Houston looked pretty bad against SA last night though, but whatever. I think there's a lot to criticize and bemoan - David Wesley being one of them. A lot of things that are encouraging too - Yao looks better this season....head is a pleasent surprise. Alston is having trouble but gotta like his quickness. God, I hope Sura isn't the reason we're struggling though...

As for what I think of this team and how far it will go in the playoffs...ask me again in March.

B****ing makes me feel better. LOL

WHat do yo want to hear? How good the rockets are. How our gaurd rotations are one of the best in teh league? How Stro is bound to be CBPY? How stable we are offensively and all the times we topped 90 points? How healthy tmac is? How much the team can step up without him? How great JVG's rotations are? How great our offseason moves have been? How geat DA and Alston have turned out.? How well we can spread the ball?

    That felt good.

half the fun during the season is the frustration and the b!tch!ing.....it makes the wins in the playoffs that much sweeter....posting criticisms on this site doesn't make anyone a fair wearther fan....people like to vent when rockets lose and they should be allowed to, otherwise many of us would develop high blood pressure and die, especially in rough stretches like this one
