Yet again...this Rockets are going to lie about a clearly serious injury and give the fans no insight. Look forward to Tari being out for months.

So “day to day” turns into two weeks with no timetable for a return and you think they’re being up front after doing the same thing they did last year with Eason’s injury?

    LMAO

Tari might be back next game. He may not. But the truth is, we’re waaay better when he plays, even though he hasn’t been as dynamic as he’s been earlier in the season. With his durability issues, it’s hard for me to see him as as a high minutes star type player in the future, but if he stays as a 6th man he’ll be one of the best ever

Dude has a rod in his tibia because of a benign tumor. Getting him back on the court might be the least of his worries.

Sounds like he’s out but he wants to keep options open because he’s a warrior (Tari that is).

Just sit him. He hasn't been as effective playing hurt anyway and Cam has been finding his groove. Tate hasn't been half bad. Loser mentality but we're unlikely to win these upcoming 2 games without Amen anyway.

From the Rockets POV what is the incentive for them to reveal Tari might be out for the year? That would just tank his value just to satisfy fan curiosity. It is also possible they don't really know/don't want to know because again that would hurt his value for no reason

My opinion if Tari is feelign pain something is def wrong. He shouldn't feel pain as the surgery was months ago. In fact he was already playing for quite a bit so unless he was battling pain since season start that just doesn't make any sense.

    Damaged goods.

If this is who he is in his 3rd season while playing 20-25 mpg to load manage him then I have no desire to know what he's going to be 3 years from now. Just toss him in the Fox package and keep a first rounder instead.

Sounds like they’re going to sit him out for the rest of the season soon.

    1) If he’s out for the year, it doesn’t matter what his value is. He wouldn’t pass a physical so his value is irrelevant.

    2) if the rockets don’t know what the issue is after multiple years now dealing with this, then that’s hugely concerning and, again, his value is irrelevant.

    3) Rockets will continue to lie about the severity like usual and call him a “game time decision” for weeks on end and people will defend it by saying things like “what’s the incentive for them”? Lmao

What is their incentive to hide his injury? They're not gonna trick another organization into taking him off their hands. If he has a bum leg, that'll be exposed once he's traded and his new team does a physical.

They need to figure out what actually has to be done to fix this, because the day-to-day song and dance didn't work last season and it's clearly not working now.

The rockets commentating team reported that they are going to approach January the same way they’ve approached December with regard to Tari’s injury. I’m gonna assume he’s gonna be another month.
