She’s trailing Kemp by more than Warnock to Walker just by those numbers show that she isn’t as popular as Warnock himself. Also that Kemp is a stronger opponent than Walker and Abrams is in the tougher race.
You still did not answer the question. Just because she is behind does mean she is dragging the brand down, especially in a deep red state. The fact they are both competitive means something more than one dragging the other down. Both are underdogs in the 1st place.
I haven’t followed this race. Why is it even close? Warnock taking the high road while Herschel attacks with lies even Trump won’t touch?
I’m more confident in Warnock. Abrams has a real problem with black male voters. A lot of pundits were ignorant and assumed if black men supported Warnock, they would automatically support Abrams because she is a democrat and black. It should be a lesson to everyone. Black voters are viewed as static (just like black people often are) and the reality is the opposite. Gender, age, education, religion and economics all figure into the voting habits of black Americans. While Abrams is still winning a majority of black male voters, it isn’t at the same level as Expected. I will give Democrats credit though, they at least can run competent and quality black candidates… which is something the Republicans sometimes fail to do.

The highly anticipated debate is less than a month away, but Walker downplayed himself when asked what he is doing to prepare for the showdown against Warnock. “I am getting out talking to people and talking to you (referring to the media),” said Walker. “I'm a country boy. I'm not that smart. He's a preacher. (Warnock) is smart and wears these nice suits. So, he is going to show up and embarrass me at the debate Oct. 14th, and I'm just waiting to show up and I will do my best.”
Exactly how he should play it. Lower expectations to the point that if all people expect him to do is literally trip over his own feet and he manages to not trip over his own feet, then he's exceeded expectations. There are limits to this strategy, of course. Constantly saying that "I'm not that smart" will eventually backfire because more and more people will believe it. There's very little Warnock can do to not make himself look intellectually superior. So he has to make a choice to either go all in and absolutely destroy Walker or tone it down and play nice. I say destroy him. Show Georgia that Walker is not mentally fit to be a Senator in the United States Congress and possibly not mentally fit enough to care for himself.

I'm so hoping that Hershel Walker gets frustrated at the debate and puts his head down and charges Warnock and takes him out with his shoulder.... knocks him out cold on television and Walker's handlers have to go to the cattle prods to get him under control. I'll say this, there is no one on this planet more "football" than Hershel Junior Walker.
Warnock should bring a football onstage and about halfway through the debate throw it on the ground and yell, "FUMBLE!" And then, of course, get out of the way...
